Fighting for a fair deal for you, my friends and neighbors in the heart of our county, is why I am working hard to earn your vote again for Lancaster County Commissioner. I came up in central Lincoln and attended Lincoln Public Schools (Hartley, Everett, Lefler, Lincoln High, and Southeast High School.) I graduated from Southeast Community College with a degree in Fire Protection Technology and as a certified Emergency Medical Technician.
I’ve worked in our criminal justice system, our child welfare system and he currently serve as an aide in the Nebraska Legislature. I live in central Lincoln with my fiancée Kate Bolz. We are scheduled to marry later this fall (2021) at the Lincoln Children’s Zoo, in the heart of the district. We have completed the initial paperwork and intend to start our family through adoption.
Serving as your County Commissioner has been the privilege of my life. I am committed to continuing to use my experience in public safety and human service, my proven leadership as Chair of the County Board and my commitment to serving Nebraskans to work for the people of Lancaster County and make our county work for everyone.
In my free time, I like to travel and I am a die-hard alternative country music fan and history buff.
